Going to church can be stressful and exhausting for some people – and clergy and congregations need to do more to help. That’s the message in new guidelines published by the Diocese on meeting the needs of people with autism and Asperger Syndrome.

The distinctiveness and effectiveness of Fringford Church of England Primary School as a Church of England school is good This is an inclusive school that works well alongside its village and church communities. Pupils value the whole school acts of worship that are held daily. Self-evaluation as a church school, though a little generous, has highlighted some areas for improvement but many strengths. Recent foundation governor appointments have encouraged the school to begin to explore its considerable capacity for further enhancement of its church school aspects.
