Clergy Handbook

Advice and guidance for clergy on ministry and the support services available

This information is live and any significant changes will be communicated in the diocesan eNews.

If you are new to the diocese, you may want to read the Welcome Booklet.

If you have any questions on diocesan policies, practices and procedures, please raise them in the first instance with the area dean, associate/archdeacon.

We hope you will enjoy your ministry in the Diocese of Oxford. The staff, bishops and archdeacons are here to support you and are happy to answer any questions.

Complaints & Whistleblowing

The Diocese of Oxford has separate complaints procedures and whistleblowing policies for clergy and employees of the Oxford Diocesan Board of Finance (ODBF) and employees of the Oxford Diocesan Board of Education (ODBE), as well as a separate safeguarding complaints policy and procedure.
