Laura-Anne Putterford joins the Diocese of Oxford as the new Children and Youth Ministry Enabler
Laura-Anne Putterford will join the Diocese of Oxford at the end of the month as Children and Youth Ministry Enabler.
Laura-Anne has spent the past four years as Children’s Leader at All Saints, Marlow. Before moving into ministry, she worked for ten years in the pharmaceutical industry.
She lives in Maidenhead with her six-year-old cat, Carrie, who firmly believes she is in charge of the household. Outside work, Laura-Anne enjoys settling down with a good book and a great cup of coffee, sharing meals with friends, and singing along to musicals.
Laura-Anne said: “Having worked directly in children’s and young people’s ministry, I understand many of the challenges faced by those serving in this area.
“I have always known church and always known Christ. My family tell me that, when I was four years old, I announced that Jesus was my best friend.
“Many years later, after a decade in the corporate world, I felt called into ministry. I hope to bring some of the organisational and strategic experience from my previous career into this new role.
“But more than that, I want to throw myself into supporting children’s and youth workers across the diocese, helping them to flourish.
“I have benefitted hugely from the support I have received from the diocese in recent years, and I am looking forward to being able to offer that same support to others.”
