The Rt Revd Gavin Collins was consecrated as Bishop of Dorchester at a special service at Lambeth Palace in April 2021. Gavin was previously archdeacon of the Meon in the Diocese of Portsmouth.

The Venerable David Tyler was a chartered accountant before ordination and became Associate Archdeacon of Dorchester in 2020. David was collated as Archdeacon of Dorchester in March 2023, following the retirement of the Ven Judy French.

Associate Archdeacon of Dorchester

The Revd Preb Jane Haslam took up the post of Associate Archdeacon to support the Venerable David Tyler in July 2023. Jane was previously Rector of the Alfred Jewel benefice in the Diocese of Bath and Wells.
