Team Rector, Cottesloe, Buckinghamshire

There are places where flourishing in rural ministry is still not just possible, but probable. With a committed team of experienced, generous and widespread laity, several fledgling missional offerings and – critically, an underpinning with prayer – this post comes with the quiet, but genuine expectation of growth for all.

We are praying for a Rector who:

  • has an expansive, Bible based faith with Jesus at the centre.
  • enjoys preaching and teaching from scripture in a variety of styles.
  • draws energy from taking an active part in engaging with local schools.
  • will prayerfully help us to develop our vision for the future and grow our churches.
  • welcomes, is gifted at engaging with and offering pastoral support to everyone.

What we can offer:

  • A warm and welcoming church community who have a tradition of loving their Priest well.
  • A lot of good quality cake, open hearted post holders and people who pray.
  • A longing to grow in faith and engage in new ways of serving our communities.
  • An enabling and missionally minded patron and supportive clergy colleagues nearby.
  • A well-appointed Vicarage.
