The vision of the café is to be a welcoming place that is a pleasure to come to; which demonstrates the love and values of Jesus; and which succeeds as a business.
Our current manager will be leaving in September 2024, and we are looking to recruit their successor. The Café Manager oversees all aspects of the café’s operation and leads its day-to-day ministry in the community.
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience of running a similar food business or catering activity.
- Experience of leading teams that include volunteers to deliver excellent customer service.
- A vibrant Christian faith with the initiative and drive to lead this ministry and fulfil its mission.
- Good communication and people skills.
This post is part of the church staff team, and we aim to give the post-holder opportunity to express their creativity, imagination and Christian vision.
The current role is full-time: hours worked reflect café opening hours and the demands of the café business, and we are willing to discuss these at interview.
