What is YouShape?

A year-long discipleship journey for 18–30s—local monthly Meetups, a Weekend Away, and a Hope Pilgrimage.

Who is it for?

Young adults aged 18–30 who want to deepen faith, explore calling, and build Christian community.

What does it involve?
  • 9 monthly peer-led Meetups
  • A Residential Weekend (Oct 31–Nov 2)
  • A 3–5 day Hope Pilgrimage (May 27–31)
  • A Commissioning Service (July)
  • Optional retreat and social days
How are Meetups structured?

Evenings of shared cooking, food, worship, prayer, testimony, and themed spiritual practice.

Where are hubs located?

Starting in Aylesbury, Oxford, and Wycombe—with more to come.

Is it residential?

No. It’s based in your local area with optional trips.

What’s the time commitment?

Roughly one evening per month, plus one weekend and one trip in May.

Is there a cost?

There’s a “pay what you can” approach for trips. Fundraising is encouraged.

Who runs the hubs?

Peer convenors—young adults supported by the Diocese.

What if I’m already involved in church?

Perfect! YouShape complements, not replaces, your current commitments.
