Vicar of Holy Trinity, Headington Quarry

The Bishop of Oxford is seeking a new Vicar for Holy Trinity, Headington Quarry, a single-church benefice in the East of Oxford, with a liberal catholic tradition.  Our vision is to be ‘an open door between heaven and earth, showing God’s love to all’We are a family-friendly and inclusive eco-church.

We are looking for a vicar who is:

  • Godly, faithful and prayerful who will lead us further in our Christian journey
  • Willing to encourage the many talents in the congregation
  • An inspirational preacher with excellent liturgical skills
  • Committed to pastoral care in the community for both young and old
  • A people person with excellent communication and team working skills

We offer:

  • A variety of services from Holy Communion and Choral Evensong to Taize
  • A recently extended and refurbished building with a new meeting space and kitchen
  • Strong support from an excellent lay and ordained ministry team and PCC, as well as a paid administrator and an extensive group of volunteers
  • A large, modern, 4 bedroom house with study and garden adjacent to the church
