The Benefice of St Mary’s Greenham

 A committed and enthusiastic congregation with a heart to see God move is looking for a new leader to help it realise the vision and have plenty of fun in the process.

St Mary’s Church Greenham sits on the southern edge of Newbury, an historic town in West Berkshire, an area of outstanding natural beauty. With a well-equipped church hall and historic church building and with its very own railway, it offers plenty of opportunities to use your creativity.

You will be:

  • Deeply rooted in Scripture, prayer, the work of Jesus and the ministry of the Holy Spirit
  • Excited about developing a ‘team ministry’, encouraging all to contribute to the life of the church and its mission
  • Energised to support the growth of the congregation, focusing on families and young people
  • Willing to engage with varying styles of worship, from traditional to café church
  • Keen to build and develop links with the community
  • Eager to welcome and disciple new people into the life of the church
