The Diocese of Oxford is seeking to appoint volunteer Assistant Director of Ordinands posts to be part of the Vocations and DDO Team. We would like to make four appointments. We anticipate that at least one of these posts will be based in the Buckingham Archdeaconry, one in the Berkshire Archdeaconry and one in the Oxford Archdeaconry.
These are volunteer roles, averaging 8 days per month. You will have an interest in working with people from diverse backgrounds exploring a calling to ordained ministry and experience in discernment and pastoral care. The role will give opportunities to develop knowledge and skills in encouraging vocations, working with people exploring calling and the national discernment processes.
