Details for 2023 Visitations for each Episcopal area are detailed below

The 2023 Visitation News is available here for your information. 

1. Canon E1 of the Canons of the Church of England sets out in summary form the duties of churchwardens. A useful leaflet on the role of a churchwarden can be found here.
2. The Churchwardens Nomination Form for use at your APCM can be found here.
3. The Churchwardens Declaration Form for 2023 can be found here.
4. The deadline for admitting churchwardens to office for 2023 is 31 August 2023.

Please note your APCM must be held by 31 May 2023. If you wish to order the 2024 Churchwardens Yearbook, or a reduced price copy of the 2023 Yearbook, the order form can be found here. 

Oxford

This year's Episcopal Visitation service, with Bishop Steven, will take place in Christ Church Cathedral at 7.30pm on Thursday 13th July.  Please let Claire Barratt know if you are able to attend and advise who will be attending with you by 20th June.  If you are unable to attend on 13th July please identify a service from one of the other areas, as detailed below, and let us know which one you will be attending.

Dorchester

Here is a list of Visitation Services venues and dates for 2023. Please complete an Attendance Form and return this to your deanery administrator.
