We are pleased to announce the appointment of a new Discipleship Enabler supporting ministry with children, young people and families in Buckinghamshire.
Bishop Steven spends an afternoon with clergy in the Abingdon Deanery, visiting two youth work charities and joining lay leaders for an evening of conversation.
An after-school club for local families in Henley-on-Thames was funded by a grant from the Development Fund.
New local charity Growing Hope is providing a vital service offering free therapy for children, young people and their families to enable them to flourish.
Two brave young people from the Minecraft group are baptised in the River Thames, the first full immersion baptism at St Michael's for at least 50 years.
During the pandemic, the Toddler Drop-In ministry team at St John the Baptist kept in touch with local families via weekly doorstep conversations.
Bishop Steven joined clergy, young people, and leaders of other church denominations for an afternoon of listening, learning and table football.
Bishop Steven spends a day with clergy and laity in the Witney Deanery, visiting the hosts of the diocesan youth weekend away to plant a tree.
The weekly Renew Wellbeing Cafe at St Andrew's, High Wycombe, offers a safe space for young people from the nearby secondary school to take a break from the pressures of school and society.
Bishop Steven joined clergy and lay leaders in the Bracknell Deanery on 10 March for a day of listening, learning and community visits.
