FARMERS braved snowy conditions to celebrate Plough Sunday recently.
A service was held for the four Anglican and URC churches of Marsh Gibbon and Twyford at St.
Mary's Church, Marsh Gibbon. Roy Lambourne, church warden, provided an ancient hand plough for display in the church and Adrian Lambourne, local farmer, parked his modern tractor and plough at the front of the church for all to see as they arrived in the snow. The photo inside the church, shows some of the congregation who attended, where as, the photo outside, has all the farmers who attended the service.
