THE Akeman Benefice, just north of Oxford, has recently been host to The Revd Julia Jonsson from our link diocese of Vaxjo in Sweden.

The Revd Gareth Miller, the Rector, writes, "Julia threw herself wholeheartedly into the life of our team, and it was a delight to have her with us.
She is a natural and gifted priest (and a good musician) and it was fascinating for us to compare notes on church life here and in Sweden.
She attended and preached at our services, visited people in their homes and in hospital, came with me to funerals and participated in all kinds of other ways."He added: "We very much hope you will keep in touch, and we hope we might be able to make a return visit. "
