January
The Revd Nicholas Plant retired from the post of Vicar, The Cookhams; The Revd Stephen Hallett was appointed Associate Minister, St Frideswide, Bletchley; The Revd Dr Robert Evans was appointed Chaplain, Radley College; The Revd Jonathan Hawkins was appointed Joint Area Dean of Aylesbury Deanery; The Revd Canon Catharine Mabuza, The Revd Catherine Butt and The Revd Dr William Lamb were installed as Honorary Canons of Christ Church Cathedral; The Revd Geoff Colmer, Baptist Minister, was appointed Honorary Ecumenical Canon of Christ Church Cathedral; The Revd David Sheen was appointed Chaplain of Brasenose College.
February
The Revd Jonathan Drake was appointed Vicar, Maidenhead St Andrew and St Mary Magdalene; The Revd Mark Nelson was appointed Rector, St Peter, St James and St Andrew, Heysham, Lancashire in the Diocese of Blackburn; The Revd Dr Stephen O’Connor was appointed Rector, Winslow with Great Horwood and Addington; The Revd Rebecca Peters was appointed Vicar, Cholsey with Moulsford; The Revd Melanie Stanley (née Jones) was appointed Curate, Chalgrove with Berrick Salome; The Revd Jane Willis was appointed Team Rector, Dorchester and Vicar of Warborough.
March
The Revd Canon David Tyler was appointed Archdeacon of Dorchester; The Revd Dr Louise Adey Huish resigned from the post of Associate Minister, St Mary's, Banbury; The Revd Miriam Keen resigned from the post of Rector, West Downland Benefice; The Revd Marcia Wadham was appointed Curate, Hungerford St Lawrence; The Revd Terence Ward Hall completed his curacy at Sunningdale; The Revd Andrew Johnson was appointed Vicar, Holy Trinity, Walton; The Revd Sarah Van Der Watt was appointed Associate Minister, Rotherfield Peppard and Kidmore End and Sonning Common.
We were sad to hear of the deaths of The Revd Geoffrey Pugh and The Revd Dr Leonard Onugha.
