The Revd Dr Grant Bayliss Christ Church and the Diocese of Oxford are delighted to announce the appointment of The Revd Dr Grant Bayliss as Diocesan Canon Precentor. Grant has been Director of Theological Studies at Ripon College Cuddesdon since 2011, before which he was Chaplain of St John's College Cambridge. As Diocesan Canon Precentor he will be taking on a new role with dual responsibility for the Cathedral's liturgy and for theological education and formation across the Diocese as a member of the Team for Initial Ministerial Training. Grant will be joined at Christ Church by his wife Chris and their daughters Beth and Sarah, and he will be installed on 2 September. The Dean of Christ Church and the Director of Mission for Oxford Diocese, Andrew Anderson-Gear, said
