Exhibition at Wycliffe Hall

THIS Trinity Term Wycliffe Hall is displaying a collection of drawings by Tim Steward and engraved glass by Philip Lawson Johnston in the Lower Common Room. Tim Steward studied classical drawing techniques at Lavender Hill Studios in London, and exhibits his work through Whitewall Galleries and Clarendon Fine Art.

His work is associated with his expressive portrayals of the Radcliffe Camera in Oxford, and in the exhibition he also includes a series of drawings of angels taken from memorial sculpture.

www. timsteward. co. ukPhilip Lawson Johnston has been a hand-engraver of glass since 1971.

He has achieved international recognition through his specially commissioned works for individuals and organisations around the world.

In January 2009 he was granted a Royal Warrant to be Hand-Engraver of Glass to Her Majesty The Queen.
