A weekend of floral and musical displays hit the right note in Duns Tew raising £2,400 for local good causes.
Proceeds from the second annual Flower and Music Festival held at St Mary Magdalene’s church will support church funds and the Katharine House hospice in Adderbury.
Visitors enjoyed a mix of music from folk groups to choirs, plus various solo, duo or trio performances for voice, piano, organ, recorder, guitar and bassoon. A scavenger hunt for children in addition to other activities and games, ensured there was plenty to entertain youngsters both inside the church and in the churchyard.
The floral displays at the event, organised by Jo Lilley, depicted the creators’ favourite Good Read.
