Bishop Paul greets Bishop John at the end of the Thames Pilgrimage The next Bishop of Southwell and Nottingham will be the Rt Revd Paul Williams, who is currently Area Bishop of Kensington. Bishop Paul was Rector of Gerrards Cross and Fulmer from 1999 to 2009 before taking up his current post. Bishop Paul greeted the pilgrims at the end of the Thames Pilgrimage in September 2014, when the party reached the border with London Diocese. He joined Bishop John and the pilgrims in a special outdoor service of celebration put on by the Deanery of Burnham and Slough.
