The last weekend in June was a busy one for the diocese as it saw 22 deacons 'priested' in four separate ordination services across Oxfordshire, Berkshire and Buckinghamshire. Those 'priested' were ordained deacons in September 2020 and included a nurse, a former toy tester, police officer and solicitor; you can read their biographies in the story we published for the deacons' ordinations last year. Necessary social distancing measures were in place throughout.
As congregations were limited, the services were livestreamed and can be watched here .
