The Diocese of Oxford’s UKME Development Enabler the Revd Polly Falconer has received a community award.
Berkshire Healthcare Foundation Trust presented Polly with the Services to the Faith Community award in recognition of her efforts to help people and communities in times of spiritual, emotional and physical needs.
Revd Falconer said: “Receiving a Grassroots Community Award means so much because the community nominated me. I will treasure the moment I received the award, and continue to serve the community as God has called me to do.
“There is an old African proverb that says, ‘if you think you are to small to have an impact, try sleeping with a mosquito in your room’.”
Revd Falconer joined the diocese in 2021 with a mission to strengthen our resolve to encourage, support and promote UKME vocations, participation and representation at all levels across the diocese.
