Speakers from all our link dioceses to join conference

Speakers from all of our link dioceses will be coming together next week for the Partners in World Mission conference.

Attendees will worship, listen to panels, participate in workshops, browse stalls with materials from our links and mission agency partners - and enjoy a lunch with food that combines elements of each country's heritage.

Sara Nodmar, an ordinand from Växjö who is their environmental lead, said: “I’m really looking forward to meet people from other countries who also take climate action with our Christian faith as reason. To realise that you are not alone makes the hope vivid and strong!”

The Revd Martha Seteso, link coordinator at Kimberley and Kuruman, added: “I am really looking forward to … meet with our people of God that we can talk together, talk about the links and the fruitful conversations that we will have. I am looking forward to learn from others. I am looking forward for us to sing together, to dance together, and just build each other up as we expand the circles of grace where we all know that we are a family.”

Our very own Bishop Mary will be one of those running a workshop and the Revd Ernesto Lozada-Uzuriaga, from Christ the Cornerstone Church in Milton Keynes will bring his artwork.

Speakers include:

  • The Rt Revd Leon Golding, Suffragan Bishop of Montego Bay and Acting Bishop of Jamaica and the Cayman Islands
  • The Rt Revd Mary Gregory, Bishop of Reading
  • Archdeacon Tshenolo Hove, Diocesan Environmental Coordinator, Kimberley and Kuruman
