General Synod carries Oxford motion on the climate emergency
First published on: 11th July 2023The Oxford Diocesan Synod motion, Responding to the Climate Emergency, has been overwhelmingly supported by General Synod. The motion calls for the National Investment Bodies of the Church of England to scale up investment in renewable energy and other environmental solutions and asks the Government to review planning regulations to aid the installation of renewable technology on church buildings.
