In January 2023, it was reported that there was a national shortage of available guide dogs and volunteers willing to train the dogs.
The Revd Phil Sutton spoke to BBC Radio Oxford on Sunday 19 February about his experience as a hospital chaplain and how this led him to take on the role of training hearing dogs for people in the deaf community, alongside his ministry as an Associate Priest in Steventon, Oxfordshire.
